At a suggestion from a fellow thespian, I have discovered yet another amazing musical: Jekyll and Hyde, the production we will hopefully be doing as seniors. I haven't seen the video yet, and I've only heard 6 songs, but I've loved every one of them. These being:

Facade (defiantely my favorite)
Murder, Murder
In His Eyes
Someone Like You
Dangerous Game
If we actually do this musical, I can already see it being absolutely amazing, despite the fact that some of the parts sound incredibly hard. I can already think of two or three people who would be amazing as Jekyll/Hyde, in our year alone. Kenz would be a perfect Lucy, not because she's anything like the character, but because she is a) an amazing actress and b) really really good at belting. And Emma Carew sounds like an amazing part too, which I think would be really fun to play :). I hope Ms. West really has us do this as seniors!

That the freshman class has an amazing crop of actors, and by the time we're seniors we'll be better than the current senior class.

whatever. people say all the time that they love a certain musical. and then you find out that they've never even seen the thing. and it's like...wait a minute. that sounds kind of fishy to me. yeah. ha! i can type with out looking at the key board!!!!
Hey, you can love a musical without ever having seen it! I mean, you have to know some of the songs, but seriously, who can get tickets to every good musical out there? And yes, we do have an amazing crop of actors :). Which makes you wonder why none of us made Harvey...go figure.
