So....tired....
Ug. I love theatre, but I am seriously dead on my feet right now. I don't have the energy to get to school at 7:00 in the morning for choir, study all day, and then practice SOM for another 4 hours after school. And O.M.G! Ms. West is sooooooo high-strung! GAH! SOMEONE NEEDS TO DE-STRESS HER!
The Animals We Were in Previous Lives
So, as you know, I'm currently sorta deciding the animals we all were in previous lives... here is my list so far. Tell me your thoughts!
Olive: Duck. (no explanation needed... those big lips of mine give it all away)
Katie: Duckling that gets lost. (You know in Elitches how they have that little family of ducks that swims around the batman swings? Katie's that duckling that sticks her head in the water for god knows what reason, then when she looks up her family ditched her and she scrambles to catch up.)
Kelsey: Lemur (They have those bushy tails that twich and stuff, and it reminds me of Kelsey's hands and how they have to grope everything.)
Kenzer: Sparrow (I don't think there's an explanation needed here either)
Kelly: Bushbaby (Just the expression she has when she watches us eat lunch... reminds me of a bushbaby!)
Hanners: Either a penguin or a crocodile.
Taylor Whitmore: Katie's cat (The not Sweeney/Maya one. I forgot her name.)
Maithreyi: Either a parrot or a parakeet. (They repeat what you say, and they won't shut up.)
Em Jacobs: A cuckoo (They really piss other birds off cuz they leave their eggs in other birdies nests.)
Nathan L.: A goat. (that kid won't stop baahing in class! ARGH! it drives me insane!)
Natalie B.: A giraffe (Those legs of hers... golly.)
Tom: A buffalo. (If you shaved off his head (wait. i didn't mean his head. i meant his hair.) and a buffalo's hair, they'd be interchangeable.) No offense. His hair cracks me up. I'd be sad if he really did cut it all off.
Thomas: Oddly, he reminds me of a bulldog. (mebbe it's cuz he dresses like an English preppy kid sometimes... and English ppl and bulldogs. Golly, they're like the same thing!)
Mo: A hen... of course.
Mindy: A vampire bat. (She'll bite ur head off if you try to have any sort of physical contact w/ her)
And that's it for now...

New thoughts on the musicals...
The lovely but fickle Ms. Westerfield has changed her mind about musicals again. I talked to her today, and she told me that these are her plans now:
Sophomore year: 99% sure we're doing Music Man
Junior year: Bye Bye Birdie
Senior year: Pippin?
What do you think?
And guess what? As a play sometime in the future (junior year, I think), she said we might be doing 12 angry jurors! (Not men - can't have an all-guys play.) Interesting...

Happy Easter!
This is one of my favorite Easter Songs:
Christ the Lord is risen today,
Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say,
Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high,
Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply,
Alleluia!
Love’s redeeming work is done,
Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the victory won,
Alleluia!
Jesus’ agony is over,
Alleluia!
Darkness veils the earth no more,
Alleluia!
Lives again our glorious King,
Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting?
Alleluia!
Once he died our souls to save,
Alleluia!
Where thy victory, O grave?
Alleluia!
I hope that you have a great day on this anniversary of the most important event ever!

IRONMAN!!!
21 HOURS LEFT!!!
Well guys, here it is spring break, mere hours before I leave. I'm so excited!
Public service announcement: I'll be gone for the following week. I hope you all have wonderful times on your own enjoying the lack of school. I'm praying that it's a great time for you all to step out of the traffic and grow closer to God... who knows what sorts of encounters you'll have! I'll miss you all and I'll want to hear all about your adventures when I return. I'll try to take lots of pictures in CALIFORNIA!!!
hug hug kiss kiss and now...GOODBYE!!!

Huh?
The other night I was watching PBS, and this short little film clip came on. It was all about how income taxes are supposedly a huge conspiracy theory, set up in 1918 by a bunch of bankers who have been illegally taxing the entire country ever since then and making a huge profit from it. I'm disinclined to believe this - it sounds a bit far-fetched. I'm curious, though, has any of you ever heard anything like this before? Do you agree with me, or do you think it really is plausible that income taxes are imposed on us unconstitutionally? I just thought it was kind of an interesting perspective.

My Super-Amazing Day!
Seminary: We learned about Josiah - he was cool.
Spanish: Ay que sexy music videos.
History: Religious discussion.
Math: Reviewing stuff. Yay.
Orchestra: We were all very tired to start, but then we woke up and had fun. The Kyles drive me crazy half the time and the other half they crack me up. This was a crack up time. On the walk back, I walked with Olive, UC1 and TB.
Science: Eh, more evolution movie. This is getting tedious. I had a strange urge to start petting Fabio's hair, though.
Lunch: Nothing to report. A bunch of people were gone for lunch with Campbell - I think they're okay, though.
PE: Fire drill. Then we tried to do a pilates video. The TV died, so we just played knockout.
English: I got to play Antigone. I love those O!s. "Because it's my name!"
After school: Walked with Hannah. "Darn my eggs!" took on a new meaning. Skyler asked us questions in French... that was interesting. TB and I gave Apples audition advice. I swooned. Andrew Wolfe swiped Kelly's clarinet and my violin. Then he unloaded them on Josh Cockroft. Interesting scene.
It's been a great day!

An Amazing Song...
I mostly made this video to share one of the most amazing songs in the world... but I suppose the video could entertain you if you're very bored. Anyway...
Movies to Watch
"Shipwrecked"
Have any of you ever seen that movie? We used to watch it all the time when we were little- it's so good! We'd rent it from albertsons all the time. Dad says it would have been cheaper if we bought it. Now we're wondering if anyone's rented it in all these years...
It's a good movie.
What other movies are you guys totally dying to watch now? COMMENT! :D

Moriah's Pregnant Idea
OK, so i definately think we should dress up as the pregnant teens. Do the convention thing, or...
split up. treat it like a study of people in our society. How do they react to pregnant teenagers? Would we get simmering looks? Sympathy? Would anyone say anything to us? I think that would be fascinating. Or maybe we could go in two groups of two and split up that way. One girl could be "preggers" the other could just be her friend...like they were malling together, nothing out of the ordinary. We could walk into a maternity store and everything.
Or, if we were feeling really daring, one of us could go into labor in Borders or something!

My eyes are crossed
Ug. My father has the musical aptitude of a rock. My mother is afraid that I will end up as a waitress. This computer keyboard is annoying. *stabs random stuffed animal with an eraser*

...
Oh my gosh, ALL of the blogs (not counting the sisters') are exactly the same as they were last week. Lame.
I can't type today, and it's really annoying me.
I love driving with Matt. But sometimes the things we talk about make me feel like someone pulled me heart out and put it through a paper shredder, then took the remains and ran them through the garbage disposal. Life sucks, and I DON'T understand people.
Why do we do the things we do, guys??? One of the people I've known for like my whole life is a total different person these days! It's like culture shock. I mean, what would I do if I was in their place??? I don't know, I can't empathize at all, we're total opposites!!! Obviously...
Life sucks, and I DON'T understand people.

Life
Got to school at 7:00 because...well, I don't really know why. Just because. History first period - watching medieval videos. Skyler's was hilarious!!!!! I am afraid to see mine...McKenzie edited it. Just kidding, Kenz :). Then CSAPS - writing. GAH! WHO COMES UP WITH THESE INCREDIBLY STUPID PROMPTS????? Honestly! "Where would you want to volunteer?" Can they not think of something more interesting for us to write about? I feel so sorry for whoever gets to grade these. Then break - it is absolutely freezing outside. We all go back in after about two minutes. Math CSAP 1 - snore. At least there's no derivatives involved. Then...oh yeah, english. How is it that my class is always behind periods 1 and 7? Ms. Quinlan should be our assistant director for SOM...she seriously stops the actors every line. We'd never get past Act 1. Sorry 'bout, that Kelsey. You were a wonderful Antigone - just ignore the shrieking 59-year-old cheese addict in the background. Then lunch - yay! Our table was not highjacked today! Then math CSAP 2 - double snore. We did a bunch of 30-second riddles with Von Schaefer - for about 45 minutes. More interesting than CSAPS, at least. SOM - yay! We have our band at last! I hope they sound good. Von Trapps work on concert music for awhile - it's finally coming together! Then the wedding scene - wow. We should not have 50 people on stage all at one time. More intimacy after that - this time with the actual Rolfe. David's penguin imitation does not make my attempts at keeping a straight face any easier. I hope we don't look as awkward as I think we did...Home. Then practice and math project. Then bed.
Toodles.
Toodles.
CSAPs
Well, they're here. The dreaded CSAPs. The only time when the school gives us cheap pre-packaged snacks and lets us go outside for no good reason. The only time when we spend the better part of a day sitting in alphabetical order with nothing better to do that try to touch our noses to our tongues. The time when we miss class to do this. The time when we waste countless time reviewing the meaning of the stop sign at the bottom of the page and punching out paper rulers.
Yes, the CSAPs are definitely here.

*sigh*
Ian. His picture was in the paper today. Reminds me that I need to go see that. Seussical. Saturday night. I hope I'm not doing anything. Why not Friday? That's the talent show. Which I hope to see...after going out to dinner with friends? Too bad Note's sleepover birthday party is that night. I'm still not sure if I have to go or not. I ought to work that out. I want to call him. Ian, I mean. It's been a while...Thanksgiving break. Though I saw his mom at the supermarket one day. I wonder if he's in Les Mis too. I haven't seen my CS friends in quite some time...Was singing Oliver! the other day. Made me think of him again. Katie and David make me think of him. We were always so close, and then I'd laugh. We got over that quickly though, thank goodness. I managed to keep a completely straight face after the first day. No one really knows what we did in that building for filming. No one but me...Spencer...Rosie...the camera man....Jeanie...and of course, Ian. And then there was the sexy love token! Not to mention dinner at Old Chicago's that one night. Has it really only been 3 shows? With Ian. His picture was in the paper today. Reminds me that I need to go see that. Seussical.
