An idea
So, for all you drama people out there, I was thinking, why don't we try to do YAGM Charlie Brown over the summer? I mean, it's a small cast, costumes would prolly be pretty easy to come up with, and there's not much by way of a complicated set - It could be pretty low budget. And it's a great show! What do you all think?

Katy, me and mckenzie were just talking about this. LOVE the idea. We need to come up with a way to raise money. the royalties would be really expensive, and If we wanted to rent the dairy center (which I think we should do) that woul cost some money too.
YOU ARE PYSCHIC!!! We've been talking about this all day!!! Yeah. That's the only problem. But...this could totally happen. I think the best time to perform would be somewhere around August like, 14ish maybe? Well, earlier than that, since that's when school starts. But I was also thinking. The cheap theatre at the Dairy only holds 100. Peak to Peak could probably squeeze in more than that. Being students we might get a discount. We could try there?

I like it! Would this be something that we would try to do through the school? I think that might complicate things, but I dunno. We'd also need people for lights and sound and an orchestra and all that - it might be easier to get them through the school. I think we should opt for the P2P stage - it'd probably be way cheaper, and it's more convenient.
You could use friends for orchestra. (Mo, olive, so on... maybe you could rent TB... haha...)
Lighting and stage wouldn't be too hard. Just ask around, go, "Hey, we need a couple of people to help with stage and lighting, do you think you could help?"
This sounds so weird, I mean, I'm not even drama-loving that much, and that I'm just Liesl's sis, but that sounds so cool, that'd be awesome if you could really do it!
This is UC1's sis, btw. I'm just too lazt to log onto my own.

What would you guys think about performing in September, so we can advertise more at P2P? By the way, I found a possible grant that we could apply for, to help out with the royalties.
Also: do you guys want to actually hold auditions, or do you just want to have everyone mutually decide parts? And is Matt definately going to be our advisor, Kenz?
If you guys audition, you'll get WAAAAY more people than you want in on this. You've seen our grade when it comes to theatre.

Thomas maybe could do charlie brown. But i think we should maybe hold auditions just within our group, because i don't think we can just assign parts, ya know?

Kelsey, I don't think we should just assign parts, but here's what I think we ought to do: First off, make sure everyone really wants to do this. Then I think we should just discuss it as a group and come to a consensus. I mean, we all know each other's acting and singing abilities pretty well.
Oh, don't worry. Everything is coming along quite nicely. :)
