I'm mad. I'm SO mad right now.

I can't believe it.  One of my best friends goes to Silver Creek, and this week she has to switch schools.  Middle of the semester and everything.  She's a little accident prone, and she hurt her foot recently.  Rumors spread, and now people think she's faking.  So they come up and KICK IT.  She's been cussed out.  She's been getting threatening text messages.  Last week there was a threat about a school shooting in the boys' bathroom.  Today someone was stabbed with a pair of scissors.  And the school's still open, still operating!!!  I mean, couldn't they just close it down for a week???  It's gotten so bad her mother took her out.  She's only going back to get her stuff.  Now in the middle of the semester she's being enrolled in Boulder Prep, a year-round school in Gunbarrel for "troubled students" aka the ones who get expelled from everywhere else.  This is bogus.

What an awful school! Did the person stabbed die?

Well, they were only stabbed with scissors, so I think it was a very minor injury...but still. I don't get it!!! The administration knows about all this!!! WHY AREN'T THEY DOING SOMETHING???
i'm sick of all the injustice in this world

What the freak? These kids are no better off in school (where theoretically they're supposed to be SAFE) than in a dark alley amid a group of angry drug pushers. And getting stabbed with scissors doesn't sound like a minor injury to me! If they're those hard core ones like mrs. quinlan has. geez.

And this is why we go to the nerd school.

I FOUND THIS ON THE NEWS. THAT WAS ACTUALLY MORE SERIOUS THAN I THOUGHT.

LONGMONT, Colo — Longmont police say a high school student has been stabbed in the back several times with scissors but suffered only superficial injuries.

The 14-year-old girl was attacked Thursday morning in a hallway between classes at Silver Creek High School. She was treated at Longmont United Hospital.

Police Commander Craig Earhart says she's expected to make a full recovery.

Earhart says a 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault. He says the boy is also a Silver Creek student but there's no indication he knew the victim.

Earhart says the attack appears to be random.

No names have been released.

Why doesn't she apply to go to a different school? Like "cough cough" Peak to Peak? I know it's really hard to get admitted since there's such a long wait list, but she ought to at least apply so she doesn't have to go to some juvie-hall type school for expelled kids. I feel so sorry for her!!!
