Disgusting
So I was biking around yesterday and I see this house for sale. It looks pretty big, and it's in a kind of hoity toity neighborhood I know of. Just for kicks, I pulled the flyer. It has six bedrooms, a sleeping porch, and seven bathrooms. FULL bathrooms. It's over 7 thousand square feet. You wanna know what it costs? 2.25 MILLION dollars. 2.25!!!! Kelsey just came back from a mission trip in which nine people lived in the same one room 11 x 11 foot house, with two twin beds. I'm so grateful to live in America and not have to deal with real poverty, but that sickens me. It's gross! Think of what that money could be put to!!! In America, we don't have to face the harsh realities that some third-world countries do, but that doesn't mean we should ignore their pain and live lavish lifestyles such as THIS.

It is completely sickening, and one of the main reasons i don't want to live in the US when i'm an adult.

I agree with Kels. You really get culture shock when you go to a third world country. The first time I was in Guatemala, we went to Chichicastenango on market day, and I swear I was so shocked by the level of poverty that I almost threw up. I won't even try to describe it. And you know Mum grew up all over Latin America, since Grandpa was a diplomat, so she NEVER lets me forget how lucky I am to live here. You kinda wonder why we were born into our lives when so many others are dying of hunger and preventable diseases every day.

Oh, and Kels, I was wondering, why is your nose whimpering?

Haha. Probably because we bonked heads when Tom was singing to her over the phone and she started bleeding. It was quite a fiasco! :D
I'm not even going to try imagining that...very ominous.

I agree. Here in Japan, everyone lives close and just accepts that there's no such thing as personal space in this country. But not in America...
That scene sounds interesting.
