I love the Olympics. I love the funny commercials (the one about China falling in love with modern health care- SO CUTE!!! And then the one with sprite, where they jump into the basketball court- WOW!). I love the medals.
It's bringing America back to its patriotic roots, where everyone cheers for one country. It's the spirit of competition, and the idealistic United States that you enjoy as a child- filled with Fourth of July parades, and face paintings, and town picnics in the park.
Beach volleyball was my favorite, gymnastics and high dives tying for second.

omg, that commercial where they jump into the basketball court TOTALLY FREAKS ME OUT. Like I'm just waiting for them to hit solid ground and all their bones will crack or something. It gives me the eeberjeebers.
